Our hospital has established a Quality Management Unit in accordance with the Ministry of Health Service Quality Standards and ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System Standards, and continues its work within the framework of the Ministry of Health Health Service Quality Standards (SKS) and ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System Standards.

AS THE QUALITY MANAGEMENT UNIT;

• To ensure the coordination of the work carried out within the framework of Health Service Quality Standards and ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System,
• To evaluate the results of the analyses carried out by the department regarding the department's goals, indicators, and gauges,
• To identify existing problems in the hospital as a result of internal audits and self-assessments, to prioritize them, and to carry out and ensure improvement studies accordingly,
• Patient and employee survey results Evaluate,
• Evaluate corrective, preventive and improvement activities followed by the unit quality manager
• Monitor new and possible changes in current standards
• Conduct training activities related to the Quality Management System and SHKS within the scope of the Training Coordinator's Job Description
• Prepare statistical data requested by official institutions and send them to the Chief Physician's Office for the purpose of sending them to the relevant institutions
• Enter the statistical data requested by the Ministry of Health every month from the websites of the relevant institutions
• Check the written regulations prepared within the framework of Health Service Quality Standards and ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System, follow up on the revision of written regulations
• Evaluate statistical information related to service delivery
• Participate as a member in the committees determined within the framework of SHKS and follow up on the meetings to do.

AS A CALIBRATION UNIT;

In 1997, a Calibration Unit was established within the Başkent University Total Quality Management Center to create criteria for the calibration of measuring and testing equipment used in Başkent University Hospital and its affiliated health institutions, and to ensure that equipment requiring calibration is calibrated according to the determined conditions and periods. Since that date, this unit, which provides on-site service by expert personnel based on the TS-EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard, continues to provide calibration services for devices and equipment used in Başkent University Hospital and its affiliated institutions, where internal calibrations are possible, in accordance with the protocols established.

In addition, the calibration unit repairs malfunctions of blood pressure monitors, glucose meters, blood pumps, and digital thermometers within Başkent University Hospital and its affiliated health institutions, and repeats their calibrations after repair.

The Calibration Unit also; uses its own reference The devices are periodically calibrated through an uninterrupted calibration and comparison chain that ensures traceability according to the international measurement system and is linked to the primary standards of SI units.

AS THE OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY UNIT;

To direct the development, dissemination and implementation of protective and preventive activities aimed at ensuring the safety of employees and the workplace at Başkent University Hospital; and to ensure that these studies and applications are carried out in accordance with the law.
