In our hospital, the Patient Rights Unit was established on 26/01/2009 in accordance with the "Directive on Patient Rights Practices in Health Facilities". Patient Rights Unit carries out its activities in order to ensure that patients and their relatives applying to Başkent University Hospital can use their rights specified in the legislation and to prevent violations of patient rights, to provide health services in a manner befitting human rights and dignity, and to train patients and their relatives and health personnel. You can send all your requests, suggestions and complaints to the Patient Rights Unit via e-mail, telephone and fax. Our office located on the ground floor serves between 08.00-17.30 on weekdays.

01.08.1998 dated and 23420 numbered Official Gazette in accordance with the Regulation on Patient Rights, everyone who applies for health services from Başkent University Hospital;

Right to Benefit from the Service in General : Activities to promote healthy living within the framework of the principles of justice and equity and to benefit from preventive health services,

Right to Information and Right to Request Information : To learn about all kinds of services and facilities provided at Başkent University Hospital, to request all kinds of information about his/her health status verbally or in writing,

Establishment and Personnel, Right to Choose and Change : To select and change the health institution, the doctors and staff who will provide services, to learn the identity, duties and titles of the personnel in question,

Right to Privacy : To receive all kinds of health services in a confidential environment,

Right to Refuse, Stop and Consent to Planned Treatment : To refuse treatment, to request its cessation, to obtain consent for medical interventions and to benefit from the service within the framework of consent,

Right to a Safe Environment : To receive health care in a safe environment,

The Right to Fulfil Religious Obligations : To fulfil their religious obligations to the extent of the facilities of our hospital and within the framework of the measures taken by the administration,

The Right to Respect and Comfort : In an environment where all kinds of hygienic conditions are provided, noise and all disturbing factors are eliminated; to receive friendly, kind, compassionate health service with respect, care and care,

Right to Visit : To accept visitors in accordance with the procedures and principles determined by Başkent University Hospital,

Right to have a Companion : To request to have an accompanying person to the extent of the possibilities of the health institutions and organisations of the legislation and if the physician deems it appropriate,

Continuous Service Right : They have the right to health care for as long as necessary.
